Musical Director and Conductor, Peter Bridle

Over the past 30 years Peter Bridle has become deeply involved in music making with young people in the West Midlands and has gained a reputation as a conductor, accompanist and violinist.
He studied the piano and violin at the Royal Academy of Music, London, and his first teaching post took him to Birmingham. Since 1976 he has been on the staff of King Edwards School, Birmingham, where he has built up a flourishing orchestral side to school musical life. In 1986 he was appointed Musical Director of the Birmingham Schools Symphony Orchestra, and was awarded an MBE in 2002 for services to youth music.
